HM Note: This hybrid contract role requires three (3) days in office. Candidates must include their first and last name in their resume. Salesforce certification (Platform Developer 1, OmniStudio Developer, Administrator, or Experience Cloud Consultant) is mandatory. Candidates can work from Toronto, Guelph, or Peterborough offices.

Description
Responsibilities:
  • Design hosting technology solutions based on client specifications, standards, policies, best practices, and cost models to meet CRM application business requirements and project deliverables.
General Skills:
  • Knowledge of CRM applications, operating systems, environments, database technologies, programming languages, and communication protocols.
  • Familiarity with best practices, OPS standards, architecture management, infrastructure policies, procedures, cost models, and procurement processes.
  • Ability to gather client business requirements and IT strategic plans.
  • Experience in developing solutions and advising on CRM service development activities.
  • Knowledge of technology design criteria, security, recovery procedures, technical specifications, and system performance assessment.
  • Experience in planning, migrating, implementing, and supporting large system projects.
  • Understanding of emerging technologies and trends relevant to client needs.
  • Basic project management knowledge (e.g., PMBOK), analytical tools, and processes.
  • Ability to assess client needs and conduct cost/benefit analyses for technology solutions.
  • Experience in designing and developing complex CRM applications.
  • Experience evaluating system performance and capacity, with recommendations for improvements.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
Skills - Experience and Skill Set:
  • Proficiency in programming, application design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation.
  • Experience with object-oriented or third-generation languages.
  • Knowledge of relational/hierarchical databases, information retrieval, communication protocols.
  • Proven ability to elicit and document requirements from stakeholders.
  • CRM software expertise, including high availability solutions and enterprise architecture methodologies.
  • Experience with middleware, gateways, and CRM development tools.
Desirable Skills:
  • Quick learner of new concepts and business needs.
  • Ability to evaluate Salesforce components and technologies via cost-benefit analysis.
  • Experience building Salesforce solutions based on user stories and low-level designs.
  • Adherence to coding standards, development in Agile/Scrum, and familiarity with Salesforce Lightning, Apex, VisualForce, APIs, SOQL, SOSL, web services.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce security, integration, deployment tools (e.g., Salesforce DX, Jenkins, GitLab).
Must Have:
  • 5+ years of Salesforce development experience in Public Sector Foundation and Sales Cloud.
  • Certified Salesforce Platform Developer I, OmniStudio Developer, Experience Cloud Consultant, and Administrator.
