Job description

Responsibilities:

Undertakes the design of hosting technology solutions based on the client’s service specifications, standards, policies, best practices, and cost models, in order to meet client application business requirements and project/initiative deliverables.

General Skills:

  1. Knowledge of integrated networking technologies, mainframe, midrange server, enterprise storage and SAN, and personal computer system technologies.
  2. Knowledge of related best practices, OPS directory/messaging standards, standard facilities infrastructure/architecture management, facility service delivery processes, infrastructures policies, procedures and direction, cost models and procurement processes.
  3. Ability to gather client business requirements; corporate I&T information mandates, client information technology strategic plans, environment and standards.
  4. Ability to participate in the development of solutions and provide advice on short/long term solution service development activities.
  5. Knowledge of leading edge technologies design criteria, security and recovery procedures, preparation of technical specifications for installation, testing and performance of integrated, multi-services systems; assess performance and capacity of existing systems making recommendations for improvement and develop technical documentation.
  6. Experience planning, migrating, implementing, and sustaining large complex system development projects.
  7. Knowledge of technology developments, trends and new products to evaluate application to client short and long term technology requirements.
  8. Basic knowledge of project management methodology (e.g. PMBOK), analytical tools and processes.
  9. Conceptual and analytical skills to assess and evaluate client needs and conduct cost/benefit analyses for new technology requirements in planning and designing solutions.
  10. Experience designing and developing large, complex, highly available, mission critical server applications.
  11. Experience with systems evaluation to assess conditions, technical performance and capacity of existing systems and determine need and feasibility of expansion, renovation or replacement.
  12. Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills, verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills and negotiation skills, teamwork skills.
  13. A team player with a track record for meeting deadlines.

Experience and Skill Set Requirements:

  1. Technical Solution and Development Skills - 40%
  2. At least 7+ years of experience designing solutions with Oracle Siebel CRM or Adobe AEM technologies.
  3. Experience with developing business design documents, functional & non-functional requirements.
  4. Experience with developing high-level application flows to support the business requirements.
  5. Experience in creating detailed process flows, developing high-level screen designs that map steps within a process to actual views in software solutions.
  6. Experience with solutions and designs with user experience and accessibility (WCAG/AODA).
  7. Experience conducting user research and usability testing.
  8. Experience developing user personas and user journey maps.
  9. Experience analyzing user feedback and designing solutions to address user issues and pain points.
  10. Experience creating wireframes and high-fidelity mockups with UI prototyping software such as Figma or Adobe XD.
  11. Experience researching and applying industry best practices.
  12. Demonstrated experience in developing use cases (business/system), identifying and documenting business rules.
  13. Demonstrated experience with the creation and analytical process of business requirement documents.
  14. Demonstrated experience in identifying risk and providing solutions.
  15. Demonstrated experience with creating quality assurance plans and writing test cases.
  16. Demonstrated experience with change management methodologies.
  17. 7+ years of experience in Siebel, and Adobe AEM Solution implementation.
  18. Demonstrated experience with documenting test strategies, scenarios, plans for user acceptance testing (UAT).
  19. Demonstrated experience in creating and updating business architecture artifacts.
  20. Demonstrated experience with rational unified process (RUP).
  21. Experience in developing application view visibility and CRUD (create, read, update, delete) matrix.
  22. Experience with developing application screen mock-ups and screen flows; translate screen design and workflows into wireframes and/or prototypes.
