Job summary

MaintainX is seeking an integration specialist on the Solutions Consulting team to connect plant OT systems to our platform using Ignition, Kepware, MQTT, and OPC UA. You will run OT discovery with operations and controls teams and demonstrate connectors using the prospect's own equipment to show MaintainX in action.

You will scope integrations with Implementation and Professional Services, hand off technical briefs, and work daily with Account Executives, Solutions Architects, Product and R&D.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a customer-facing technical role: solutions consulting, pre-sales engineering, implementation, integrations or similar.
• Experience with OT data sources such as SCADA, historians, PLCs or industrial gateways.
• Hands-on with OT connectors and API-based integrations.

Responsibilities

• Lead OT discovery with operations and controls teams and map data sources to connectors.
• Demo OT connectors live using the prospect’s equipment and data.
• Scope integrations with Implementation and Professional Services to ensure live deployments.
• Collaborate with Solutions Architects on custom OT work and provide clear technical briefs.
• Travel to customer sites and maintain daily English communication with US/English Canada customers.

Job description

• This role sits on the Solutions Consulting team, working alongside Sales, Implementation and Product
• You will be the integration specialist for operational technology (OT): the person who shows plant and facility teams how MaintainX connects to the systems that run their machines, including our OT data connectors for Ignition,Kepware, and MQTT, and wireless vibration
• If a prospect’s equipment data lives in a SCADA or historian layer, you are who the deal team calls
• You will own the technical story for every deal where a customer’s machines, sensors and control systems need to connect to MaintainX
• Run OT discovery with operations and controls teams, then map their data sources to the right connector so scope is clear before the deal closes
• Demo the OT connectors live, using the prospect’s own equipment and data so buyers see their plant in MaintainX, not a slide
• Scope integrations jointly with Implementation and Professional Services, so every integration is sold alongside the right services and goes live as promised
• Partner with Solutions Architects on custom OT work the pre-built connectors don’t cover, and hand off a clear technical brief
• Log recurring integration requests as product feedback, so the connector roadmap follows what customers actually ask for
• You will work daily with Account Executives, Solutions Architects, Implementation, Product and R&D, and coach sellers on when to pull you in
• At six months, you are the first call on every OT conversation
• At twelve, the connectors you’ve demoed are live at customers and your feedback has shaped what we build next
• This role is responsible for managing and supporting a customer portfolio based primarily in English-speaking markets (US/English Canada), requiring daily verbal and written communication in English with those customers
• This role will also involve travel for customer on-sites
