Summary

At Messagepoint, the Business Solutions Consultant is responsible for helping to design and implement solutions to fulfill our customers’ needs using the Messagepoint product suite. They will work alongside different teams to identify product needs, assist in project implementation, and installation of software both on-premise and in the cloud.

To achieve this, the Business Solutions Consultant needs a strong desire to leverage their keen technical skills. They must have the ability to solicit business requirements, develop a solution and effectively demonstrate how the Messagepoint solution will address their specific needs and deliver true business value. They must also have a strong desire to learn and leverage new technologies, and to share that knowledge with the wider team.

Responsibilities :

  • Actively participating in opportunity discovery sessions
  • Managing and addressing queries of proposed solutions
  • Developing solution proposals and collateral including presentations and demonstrations
  • Providing input from customers into Product Development and Marketing
  • Documenting business requirements, solution designs, and technical implementation designs
  • Assisting in the implementation of customer projects
  • Supporting customers post-implementation

Qualifications :

  • Demonstrated experience programming in Python is required
  • Demonstrated experience programming in Go is an advantage
  • 5+ years of experience with Container Technology & Management using Docker
  • Reading and writing of data file formats including CSV, XML, JSON, fixed length
  • 5+ years of experience with Service Integration : REST, SOAP, message brokers, file transfer, and similar
  • 5+ years of experience working within key industries such as Financial Services, Insurance and Healthcare is required
  • 5+ years of experience with workflow automation and scripting
  • SQL experience
  • CI / CD experience
  • Industry experience in Customer Communication Management / Customer Experience / Digital-Mobile Software
  • Highly organized, with keen attention to detail and prioritization skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven record of being able to work within a team environment and also capable of working independently
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver to deadlines
  • Able to quickly digest business requirements and new technologies to solve complex business problems
