Job description

Caseware is one of Canada's original Fintech companies, having led the global audit and accounting software industry for over 30 years, with more than 500,000 users across 130 countries and available in 16 different languages. While you might not have heard of us (yet) over 36,000 accounting and audit professionals list Caseware as a skill on their LinkedIn profiles!

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Solutions Consultant to join our team at Caseware, a leading SaaS organization. As a Solutions Consultant, you will be responsible for successfully leading our customers and prospective customers through exploration and evaluations of Caseware solutions. In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor, working collaboratively with accounting firms and organizations as they navigate critical decisions around technology modernization.

By taking a consultative approach, you will be their partner to guide them through all aspects of their software evaluation, helping them understand not only current solutions but also how emerging technologies, including AI and automation, can drive efficiency, enhance quality, and create new opportunities within their organizations. You will also liaise with team members in account management, training, professional services, support and product to help ensure customer needs are addressed on a timely basis, and professionally.

This role supports customers and internal stakeholders across North America and may require availability to accommodate meetings across Eastern Time (ET) to Pacific Time (PT) business hours, with notice, to effectively collaborate with clients, partners, and cross-functional teams.

  • Lead evaluation activities including presentations, trials & pilots, sharing information on solutions expertise and best practices with customers, while coordinating with technical or product SMEs where appropriate.
  • Strategize with customers on their migration & implementation journeys, from their existing accounting and audit tools, and work with them and the Professional Services team to ensure they have a clear direction and key requirements are addressed.
  • Support customer evaluations and implementations, providing information on tools, processes and resources to customers, and helping to ensure timelines and tasks remain on track.
  • Create and maintain product demonstration strategies, use cases and related assets that are value and benefit-driven, not feature walk throughs.
  • Act as the bridge between customers and Product teams, gathering and translating customer feedback into clear, actionable insights that inform product development while helping prospects understand how our roadmap addresses their business needs.
  • Attendance at Conferences and Events, maintaining relationships with customers and staying up to date with industry standards and trends.
  • Participate in speaking engagements and thought leadership events or publications, as comfortable.
  • Design and implementation of processes and systems to support the delivery of consistent, scalable services. Assist in the development and execution of improvement plans internally that are scalable to support future growth.

  • At least 3 years experience preparing financial statements and/or performing Audit, Assurance, Review or Compilation engagements OR at least 3 years’ experience in customer-facing role (e.g., customer success, account management, implementation or project management) in a SAAS company serving the Accounting Profession.
  • Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills.
  • Effective communicator with ability to understand and interpret stakeholder needs.
  • Understanding of, or strong interest in, AI-powered accounting solutions and the ability to discuss how AI can be applied to modern accounting, audit, and advisory workflows with clients and prospects.
  • Strong organization skills with experience tracking and managing multiple deliverables and tasks.
  • A resourceful self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment where initiative and problem-solving skills are required.
  • Have a sound understanding of technology within the audit and accountancy sector, or an enthusiasm to learn.
Preferred:
