Job summary

Tekshapers is seeking a Solution Architect with Cyber Security/Risk to design and govern enterprise architecture for business managed applications in Toronto. You will assess requirements, document current states, and drive architecture blueprints aligned with security directives.

The role demands strong IT architecture experience, data and business architecture awareness, and the ability to clearly communicate architecture to diverse audiences.

Solution Architect with Cyber Security/Risk

"Job Description: What will you do?"

• Assess existing business requirements, business processes and application setup to support the overall compliance, governance, corporate security and policy library technology strategy, focusing on architecture blueprints, capabilities models, and proven enterprise patterns.
• Partner closely with Business Partners, IT Team and Vendors to document the Current State Architecture for our Business Managed Applications.
• Effectively Identify and manage risks through risk assessment, to ensure all products and deliverables adhere to RBC’s policies and security directives
• Creatively communicate and present the Architecture Blueprint to several different audiences, through both written and verbal communications.
• Develop ongoing knowledge of current and emerging technologies.
• Participate in day-to-day execution of architecture strategies.
• Help drive the organization towards targeted architecture states and improve the maturity of the architecture practice.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have:

• Strong experiene in information technology development, design and architecture roles.
• Knowledge of architecture aspects, including business architecture, data architecture and cyber security architecture.
• Strong analytical, communication, presentation and facilitation skills.
• Proven ability to deal with complexity and ambiguity, and demonstrated capability to lead/manage cross-functional partnerships
• Growth mindset, willingness to be constantly learning new skills, listening to understand Nice-to-have:

Nice-to-have:

• Experience building and deploying solutions to public cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.)
• Good awareness and experience in public and private cloud platforms would be an added value.
