Project Overview:

• Our client is seeking an Azure DevOps Engineer (Azure Solutions Architect) to assist in the design and development of the Nuclear Azure IT Environment.
• This role will focus on optimizing Azure DevOps tools and practices, driving the automation of deployment pipelines, and ensuring infrastructure consistency through Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

Job Responsibilities:

• The Solutions Architect manages and optimizes Azure DevOps tools, including Pipelines, Repos, and Boards, to maintain CI/CD best practices.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automate deployment pipelines to ensure consistent, repeatable, and efficient operations.
• Collaborate with Cloud Architects, Security Engineers, and other stakeholders to implement best practices and ensure security compliance.
• Design, implement, and maintain automated testing for infrastructure deployments.
• Integrate security and compliance checks into DevOps pipelines to align with organizational policies and industry standards.
• Establish disaster recovery strategies and manage rollback processes within pipelines.

Key Deliverables:

• Fully automated deployment pipelines using Azure Pipelines.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) scripts and templates.
• Continuous integration and deployment pipelines optimized for efficiency and security.
• Set up and manage Azure DevOps repositories.
• Automate and optimize CI/CD processes to enable faster updates and changes to infrastructure.
• Implement monitoring and alerting for deployed infrastructure.
• Enforce Zero Trust policies within the pipeline.
• Document pipeline configurations, processes, and best practices for future reference.
• Continuously optimize CI/CD pipelines for improved performance and scalability.

Required Experience:

• Proven experience managing and implementing Azure DevOps tools, including Pipelines, Repos, and Boards, with a focus on Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automating deployment pipelines to ensure consistency and repeatability across the environment.

Desired Experience:

• Demonstrated expertise in managing Azure DevOps tools (Pipelines, Repos, Boards) and implementing CI/CD processes.
• Track record of automating deployment pipelines, driving IaC, and ensuring operational efficiency across cloud environments.
