Rogers Communications is seeking an IT Solution Delivery Manager to lead the planning and delivery of projects supporting the Rogers Business unit. Reporting to a Sr. Manager, Solution Delivery within Business IT, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of solutions that meet key business needs.

What you will do :

  • Collaborate with Rogers Business teams including Business Systems, Sales, Marketing, Customer Service Operations, and Planning. Manage scope within budget and timeline constraints, develop suitable IT solutions, and create realistic delivery plans. Engage in trade-off discussions and explore the art of the possible.
  • Work with IT Demand Management to assemble the right project team for successful delivery, including Architecture, Infrastructure, Security, PMO, Application Development (both waterfall and agile), Testing, and Operations.
  • Represent business stakeholders in IT discussions and vice versa.
  • Participate in solution design processes such as JAD sessions and review meetings.
  • Play the roles of Project Manager and Business Analyst as resources allow.
  • Coordinate team efforts to resolve issues and conflicts, escalating to senior management when necessary.
  • Align projects with business and IT roadmaps.
  • Promote quality, innovation, excellent customer experience, teamwork, and open communication.
  • Build trusted relationships with business partners and team members across the organization.

What you have :

  • Experience in a corporate IT environment, preferably in telecommunications and B2B contexts.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of framing technical issues in business terms and explaining business concepts to technical audiences at all levels.
  • Leadership, collaboration, teamwork, organizational skills, adaptability, influence without authority, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • A strong desire and ability to learn Rogers Business products, operations, and underlying IT needs.
  • A consulting mindset rather than an order-taker approach.
  • Experience in project planning, cost estimation, and forecasting.
  • Knowledge of SDLC methodologies including Waterfall and Agile.
  • Ability to write and evaluate IT requirements for quality and completeness.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience managing vendors, including RFP participation and SOW review.
  • Understanding of Rogers' business and IT practices is an asset.
  • Background in software delivery, project management, or business analysis; a Bachelor’s in a technical field.
  • Previous roles as a project manager, delivery manager, or business analyst; PMP, CBAP, or Agile certifications are assets.
