Responsibilities:

Opportunity Analysis

  • Understand which DXC security offerings best addresses customer needs and business requirements.

Solution Design and Development

  • Put together a solution design and strategy, provide security solutions to meet client’s requirements and being able to adapt to new requirements.

  • Take end to end view of solution, ensure the proposed solution can deliver the business outcomes.

  • Put together the cost components for the Services in scope for Security solutions. Deliver and own accurate financial models that are logically structured and reflect technical solution.

  • Collaborate with other IT and application towers for cross-functional aspects.

  • Understand interaction of deal variables (compliance, volumes, services, service level agreements, locations, delivery and portfolio interactions, collaboration with sales, vendor partners).

Solution Leadership

  • Understand the Client’s business, market and emerging trends.

  • Understand the big picture and map Security solution to IT and to business outcomes.

  • Understand the competitive landscape and have working experience with Third-Party Advisors (TPAs).

  • Direct solution activities and ability to lead service element integration, across towers and providers

Client/Customer/Account Relationship

  • Understand and address CISO / CxO issues

  • Apply consultative selling techniques to advance opportunities

  • Participate in negotiation of technical contract elements for Security services

  • Provide solution advice, drive proposals conversation with Clients, Client presentations and other Client communications during competitive pursuits

  • Input to security offering teams to bring in changes to offerings as per latest security trends and compliance needs

Basic Qualifications

  • 10+ years in IT Security Pre-Sales, Security Engineering, Security Consulting, Security Operations, Security Solutions.

  • 5+ years in Security Solutioning and good understanding the Security Market.

  • Technical University or bachelor’s preferred.

  • Preferred working experience with large global Service Integrators, across different industry sectors, commercial and public

  • Experience with and understanding of security standards, laws, privacy, compliance and regulatory requirements

  • Involvement in architecting and proposing cyber security solutions to customer, experience in Managed Security Services market

  • Broad knowledge of outsourcing services and solutions with expertise in area of specialization

  • Good proposal writing and presentation skills in English, any other language is a plus

Technical Qualifications

  • Security certifications like – CISSP, CCSP, GICSP, CISA and/or Security Product certifications.

  • ITIL and PMP certifications are good to have.

  • Good understanding and experience with one or more of the following

  • Proposal presentation,

  • RFP, proposal development, costing, solution architecture, Statement of work,

  • cybersecurity,

  • customer communications,

  • IT Outsourcing,

  • MSS, Security consulting

    Security domains and associated tools/technologies:

  • Security Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC), including Security Assessment, Advisory and Consulting Services

    Security Protection Services including application security, cloud security, data security, endpoint security, infrastructure security, network security and advanced security services

    Identity and Access Management (full portfolio)

    SOC/MDR, TVM, EASM, Incident Response, Forensics, etc.

Location – Ontario, Alberta, Nova Scotia - Canada

  • Role Type – Must be a Canadian passport holder

  • Location Type – Hybrid, mostly remote

  • Language – English, French

  • Travel – up-to 50%
