About the Team & Business Line:

The Solution Architect for the Intelligent Automation (IA) team is a key technical leader responsible for designing and implementing cutting-edge automated solutions. He/She will work closely with technical teams to ensure all designed solutions are robust, scalable and cost effective. As a Solution Architect, you will play a crucial role in shaping the automation strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives and technological advancements.

Intelligent Automation (IA) is a multidisciplinary team within the Transformation Office (TO), tasked with identifying, developing, and deploying automated solutions by leveraging a variety of emerging technologies. These technologies encompass Artificial Intelligence, Robotic Process Automation, Test Automation, Business Process Management, APIs, and Cloud Services.

Qualifications

About You:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years’ experience working as a Solution Architect, Technical Lead, or similar role, with a strong background in designing and implementing automation solutions
• Proficient in Python development
• Proficient in infrastructure development accounting for HA/DR strategies
• Expertise in automation technologies, including AI, RPA, BPM, APIs, and Cloud Services
• Associate level certification required in AWS and UiPath, professional certification preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex business processes and identify automation opportunities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
• Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a track record of successfully leading technical teams and projects
• Exceptional communications skills, both written and oral
• Assets:
• Knowledge of financial products and hedge fund administration
• Agile project management proficiency

Responsibilities

YourRole:

• Architectural Design: Prepare/review solution design/architecture diagrams for all automation solutions, leveraging various technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Robotic Process Automation, Business Process Management, APIs, and Cloud Services
• Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams, driving the successful delivery of automation projects from concept to deployment
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with business stakeholders, process owners, product owners and IT teams to understand requirements, identify opportunities for automation, and deliver solutions that drive value
• Solution Evaluation: Assess and evaluate emerging technologies, tools, and platforms to ensure IA team leverages the most effective and innovative tools/platforms
• Best Practices: Establish and promote best practices for automation design, development, and deployment, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and performance
• Documentation: Create detailed documentation for architectural designs, solution components, user stories, acceptance criteria, and automated processes
• Testing: Oversee testing to ensure automated solutions meet business requirements and performance standards and implement automated testing where possible
• Continuous Improvement: Lead continuous improvement initiatives, identifying areas for optimization and enhancement within existing solutions
• Provide mentorship to team members and facilitate their skill development
• Provide input to project reports to confirm their accuracy and maintain consistent communication
• Work with vendors on best practices and solution designs
