Job summary

Astra-North Infoteck Inc. is seeking an Enterprise Solutions Architect to lead cloud, cybersecurity and application-architecture initiatives in Toronto.

You will assess requirements, document current-state architecture for business applications, and drive governance, security and policy alignment across teams. Enterprise Solutions Architect – Cloud, Cybersecurity & Application Architecture

Job Description

What will you do?

• Assess existing business requirements, business processes and application setup to support the overall compliance, governance, corporate security and policy library technology strategy, focusing on architecture blueprints, capabilities models, and proven enterprise patterns.
• Partner closely with Business Partners, IT Team and Vendors to document the Current State Architecture for Business Managed Applications.
• Effectively identify and manage risks through risk assessment, to ensure all products and deliverables adhere to corporate policies and security directives.
• Creatively communicate and present the Architecture Blueprint to several different audiences, through both written and verbal communications.
• Develop ongoing knowledge of current and emerging technologies.
• Participate in day-to-day execution of architecture strategies.
• Help drive the organization towards targeted architecture states and improve the maturity of the architecture practice.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have:

• Strong experience in information technology development, design and architecture roles.

• Experience building and deploying solutions to public cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.).
• Knowledge of development languages like .NET, Java, Spring, Python, Docker containers, Kubernetes, DevOps and JavaScript.
• Good awareness and experience in public and private cloud platforms would be an added value.
• Advanced digital platform skills, modernizing legacy platforms with all options on architectures would be an asset.
