Your Role And Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy hybrid, multi-cloud, and cloud-native architectures for payments transformation initiatives supporting client requirements. Solution responsibilities include infrastructure, systems, communications, and data center strategies.
• Lead the creation of Solution Architecture, High-Level, and Low-Level design deliverables with client architects.
• Bring expertise in hybrid cloud platform security, governance, and compliance.
• Understand hybrid cloud platforms (OpenShift, IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure) and cloud service models to construct cost-effective solutions.
• Design HA / DR strategies for hybrid cloud solutions.
• Use reference architectures and service assets to develop designs.
• Ensure performance, availability, scalability, and impact on client infrastructure.
• Support sales opportunities and lead consulting engagement pursuits.
• Oversee engagement execution, including staffing, project approach, deliverables, and key events.
• Collaborate on automation strategies and deployment processes.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

• 10+ years in designing and delivering large-scale IT projects.
• Experience in payments systems (ACH, Wires, Real Time, Interac, Cheques, Card Payments) and banking/financial services.
• 3+ years as a solution architect with hands-on leadership in hybrid cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, IBM, GCP).
• Cloud solution architect certification from major providers.
• Experience with microservices, containers, orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
• Leading projects with global onsite, nearshore, and offshore teams.
• Experience with Agile & DevOps methodologies.
• Designing scalable, fault-tolerant, resilient systems; knowledge of data center concepts, high-availability, capacity planning, and performance evaluation.

Preferred Technical And Professional Experience

• Understanding of Red Hat ecosystem (OpenShift, Ansible, RH Fuse, RH SSO).
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code and DevOps automation.
• Expertise in data center migration to cloud.
• Familiarity with IT Operations and SRE practices.
• Experience with REST APIs, Java Spring Boot, Microservices architecture.
