A leading NetSuite consulting firm in Montreal is seeking a Solution Architect to design ERP solutions and support sales. The ideal candidate has over 7 years in a senior architect role and is bilingual in English and French. This position requires strong technical and business acumen, along with skills in presentation and collaboration. Occasional travel to the U.S. is required.

Gurus Solutions is looking for a Solution Architect! Reporting to the Director of Architecture and operating in a matrix-based organization, the Solutions Architect is a business and technical solution expert contributing to complex customer projects by providing assistance to commercial and delivery teams in all phases of the project life-cycle. More specifically in pre-sales, assessments, architecture and quality control. The Solutions Architect also participates in the elaboration and approval of delivery and technical practices.
Primary Responsibilities :
Support sales team in pre-sales situations that will require architectural discussion including multiple systems
Collaborate with prospects to understand their business context and goals in order to propose technical solutions
Gather and analyze requirements to identify customer needs and pain points
Design solutions for ERPs, integrations, and business functionalities based on business and integration best practices
Provide creative and robust architecture design solutions for special and complex projects using the GURUS system architect mindset. Including in the context of unknown detailed requirements and technical feasibility.
Conduct presentations of proposed architecture and provide multiple customer options with pros and cons to show expertise and thought leadership.
Provide and approve complex project estimates and SOWs. Be able to provide the correct type of estimate given the situation. Be able to reverse engineer already provided estimates to fit the scope of the project with the given estimates.
Lead the implementation of designed solutions, ensuring a seamless migration process while maintaining data integrity and security
Deliver architecture documentation using GURUS’ 6 step architectural analysis ○ Work closely with cross-functional teams, such as developers, project managers, and system administrators, to ensure successful deployment of designed solutions
Provide technical guidance and support to clients throughout the implementation process, troubleshooting any issues that may arise
Conduct regular performance assessments and recommend improvements to optimize designed solutions
Comfortable working in new and unknown situations. This can include working with new products, in unforeseen circumstances, with no determined roles or responsibilities.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in cloud technology to continuously improve architecture solutions ○ Continuously look out for new technology that can help GURUS expand our service offering and knowledge base ○ Identify, define, implement and promote best-practices and processes across the company
Build Gurus technical credibility by contributing to blog post, conferences, publications, whitepaper, webinars and more ○ Represent the organization at all times to promote our expertise in cloud implementations and help grow our brand
Provide guiding and mentoring to other consultants and design team through the entire design and development process.
Assist team leaders by providing coaching and support to staff members.
Provide employee feedback to team leaders.
Support team leaders in providing technical training.
Inspire and motivate peers and co-workers.
Specific Requirements :
This position may require occasional travel to the United States and therefore you are required to possess either a CANADIAN or AMERICAN PASSPORT, which will be valid for six months or more at the time of your hiring.
