A leading solids control company in Winnipeg is seeking a Solids Control Technician to oversee mechanical processes that enhance drilling operations. The role involves operating various equipment and systems, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring safety standards. Candidates should have a high school diploma, field experience in the Oil and Gas industry, and effective communication skills. This position requires flexibility for travel and work in varying weather conditions.
Stage 3 specializes in high-quality solids control equipment designed for mud systems to effectively manage solids, reducing costs for the customer and providing limited or zero discharge solutions as necessary. Additionally, Stage 3 employs a team of solids control field technicians, field supervisors, engineers, and scientists to make informed recommendations on managing drilling jobs for efficiency and cost savings.

Under the general direction of and reporting to the Field Leader(s), the Solids Control Technician oversees mechanical processes used to enhance drilling operations and recycle drilling fluid through closed loop and other mud systems. You will receive on-the-job training on a variety of specialized Stage 3 equipment. The role involves working an average 12-hour shift on a rotational schedule, either at various drilling rigs or environmental projects across Canada.
