Job summary

Connect Tech Inc. in Ontario is seeking a detail-oriented Soldering Technician to join our manufacturing team. You will perform intricate soldering and assembly of cables and wire harnesses, with strong emphasis on quality and IPC standards.

You will use microscopes, soldering irons and precision tools, following drawings and change notices to complete tasks. A fast-paced, high-tech environment offers competitive pay and a collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• Hands-on PCB assembly with SMT and through-hole components.
• Experience with ESD procedures and essential tools.
• Strong ability to read BOMs, schematics, and drawings to IPC standards.
• Demonstrated manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
• Strong English comprehension to follow technical instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly or modification soldering of electronic components, including rework and repairs.
• Follow detailed written instructions, drawings & specifications for hands-on fabrication and production assembly of electronic cables and wire harnesses.
• Hand and machine crimp terminals and insert terminals into connectors
• Follow written work instructions and Engineering Change notices to complete required tasks
• Achieve and adhere to a high level of quality of work produced
• Electronics assembly
• Follow established procedures, safety guidelines, and ESD handling practices
• Perform minor assembly or modification tasks on electronic components, when requested
