We are seeking a Preconstruction Student for our Solar District that is available for 4 months or 8 months starting September 2025.

As a Preconstruction Student, depending on your assigned project, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our team by:

Responsibilities

• Assisting with coordinating and managing the project design and procurement process, including taking detailed meeting minutes and following up on open items.
• Reviewing RFP documentation, drawings/diagrams, and specifications for key project requirements.
• Facilitating communication and collaboration between all project stakeholders by utilizing PM4+ to send RFIs and submittals.
• Assisting projects with material take-offs, quantity optimization, and pricing compilation and recaps.
• Streamlining project processes by developing procurement operating practices and converting Excel tools into standard Solar templates.
• Supporting project success by developing and maintaining PM4+ procurement dashboards for projects.
• Drafting purchase orders and coordinating with estimators and schedulers to ensure compliance with project budgets and expected delivery dates.
• Communicating with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Developing and maintaining strong customer-focused relationships with all stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have a strong desire to work in a solar preconstruction function.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Superior attention to detail.
• Proficient in various computer software programs, including AutoCAD, word processing, and spreadsheet applications (Excel).
• Familiarity with PM4+ and Power BI is a plus.
