We are seeking a Preconstruction Student for our Solar District project, available for 4 or 8 months starting September 2025.

As a Preconstruction Student, depending on your assigned project, you will contribute by:

• Assisting with coordinating and managing the project design and procurement process, including taking detailed meeting minutes and following up on open items.
• Reviewing RFP documentation, drawings/diagrams, and specifications for key project requirements.
• Facilitating communication and collaboration between all project stakeholders using PM4+ to send RFIs and submittals.
• Assisting with material take-offs, quantity optimization, and pricing recaps.
• Streamlining project processes by developing procurement practices and converting Excel tools into standard Solar templates.
• Supporting project success by developing and maintaining PM4+ procurement dashboards.
• Drafting purchase orders and coordinating with estimators and schedulers to ensure compliance with budgets and delivery timelines.
• Communicating with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Developing and maintaining strong, customer-focused relationships with stakeholders.

Qualifications include:

• A strong desire to work in solar preconstruction.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, Word, and Excel.
• Familiarity with PM4+ and Power BI is a plus.
