We are seeking aSolar Design Student,for ourSolar Districtthatis available for4 month or 8 months starting September 2025.

As aSolar Design Studentand depending on your assigned project, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our team by:

Responsibilities

• Reviews RFP documentation for key design requirements
• Designs, reviews and/or validates solar facility layouts relative to RFP documents using/creating plans, specifications, and other information
• Calculates energy losses for designs
• Prepares/draws detailed site layouts using electrical single line diagrams using AutoCAD
• Supports estimating with quantity takeoffs and preconstruction efforts (e.g. design coordination, constructability review, project planning)
• Effectively communicates with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues
• Develops and maintains strong customer focused relationships with all stakeholders

• Application of various computer software programs will be required, including AutoCAD, word processing, and spreadsheet applications (Excel)
