About the Role

As a Solar Ambassador with Sunly, you'll be the first point of contact between homeowners and their clean energy future. This role is ideal for motivated, outgoing individuals who enjoy connecting with others and making a positive impact in their community.

You’ll be responsible for generating interest in solar energy through direct outreach—knocking on doors, sparking meaningful conversations, and scheduling free solar consultations with our licensed advisors.

Success in this position means consistently engaging with homeowners in a friendly, professional way, generating qualified leads, and helping educate the public on solar benefits and incentives. Your work plays a critical role in expanding our customer base and accelerating Nova Scotia’s transition to renewable energy.

We’re looking for team players who show up ready to learn, work hard, and take pride in delivering honest, helpful information to the community.

Responsibilities

• Engage with homeowners door-to-door to introduce Sunly’s solar solutions
• Clearly communicate the benefits of solar and available provincial / federal rebates
• Qualify leads and schedule solar consultations with our Solar Advisors
• Record and track outreach activity using Sunly’s internal CRM system
• Attend team meetings and training sessions to develop skills and stay informed
• Represent the Sunly brand in a positive, respectful, and enthusiastic manner

Qualifications

Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills

Confident, self-motivated, and able to work independently or in a team

Ability to handle rejection with a positive attitude and persistence

Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions

Must be 18+ and legally eligible to work in Canada

Previous experience in customer service, canvassing, or sales is a plus—but not required

Willingness to learn about solar technology and energy programs (training provided)
