The Role…

At Soho House, a Food & Beverage Manager is responsible for managing service, quality control, and ensuring a consistent F&B experience under the direction of the General Manager. The F&B Manager oversees daily, weekly, and monthly special projects, and ensures an optimal member, guest, and staff experience. They will develop leadership skills in the hospitality industry through exceptional leadership, P&L review, forecasting, hiring, inventory management, purchasing, vendor relationships, and maintaining high standards of staff and financial performance.

The successful Food and Beverage Manager will maximize sales and revenue by building customer relationships and implementing opportunities to drive efficiency and effective processes. Responsibilities include service standards, elevating member / guest experience, hiring, training, and staff scheduling.

Main Duties :

  • Proactively manage operations with the General Manager to ensure excellent service, staffing, and member / guest experience while meeting profit targets.
  • Communicate effectively with members, guests, and staff to ensure high levels of service.
  • Collaborate on menu creation, procurement, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Identify customer needs and develop action plans to enhance experience and mitigate risks.
  • Support HR guidelines, recruitment, and training to attract and retain high-performing staff.
  • Establish targets, KPIs, schedules, policies, and procedures.
  • Foster open communication, team ownership, and accountability.
  • Ensure compliance with allergy procedures, safety, and sanitation standards.
  • Provide weekly / daily shift recaps covering service, staffing, sales, profit, and risk mitigation.

Required Skills / Qualifications :

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Detail-oriented, process-driven, with problem-solving skills in high-volume environments.
  • Experience with POS systems, OpenTable, Opera, Tripleseat, or similar technologies.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
  • Knowledge of food & beverage trends, safety, and health regulations.
  • Ability to meet financial targets and manage personnel.
  • Guest-oriented, flexible, and proactive.
  • Valid Smart Serve certificate.
  • Physical Requirements :

  • Ability to grasp, turn, and hold objects; perform fast-paced movements; lift at least 30 pounds; kneel, bend, crouch, climb; perform physical activities like lifting and cleaning; stand, walk, lift, and bend for long periods.
