Summary: This is a highly influential and challenging senior leadership role, vital for maintaining in-house intellectual property, driving the delivery of the existing and future work programs, and ensuring the expected, and increasingly higher, service levels for business-critical applications. This position is crucial to the evolution of the support model, as we strategically transition more functions in-house and reduce our reliance on external vendors. As a Senior Solution Architect specializing in infrastructure, you will provide technical leadership, architectural guidance, and hands-on expertise to design, implement, and maintain the robust and scalable infrastructure underpinning the O2A platform within our OpenShift environment. This will involve deep understanding and extensive hands-on experience supporting the underlying Oracle systems, including Bell's customized implementations of Siebel, Analytics, OSM, and SOA. You will be a key decision-maker, influencing the strategic direction of the platform's infrastructure and ensuring its alignment with Bell's overall technology strategy. You will also play a key role in coordinating and collaborating with the existing offshore team, and potentially guiding its future expansion.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Infrastructure Planning & Architecture: Develop and maintain the long-term infrastructure strategy for the O2A platform, aligning it with Bell's broader IT roadmap. This includes capacity planning, technology selection, and architectural design for high availability, scalability, and security within our OpenShift environment.
2. OpenShift Modernization & Optimization: Lead the optimization and modernization of the O2A platform's infrastructure within our OpenShift environment, ensuring a seamless transition with minimal disruption to business operations.
3. DevOps Transformation & Automation: Champion the adoption of DevOps best practices throughout the infrastructure lifecycle. This includes automating infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes.
4. Application & Infrastructure Optimization: Collaborate with application development teams to optimize application performance and resource utilization.
