Envysion, a Motorola Solutions company, is a leading provider of enterprise video security and AI solutions for the restaurant and retail industries. Envysion improves restaurant and retail profitability by helping customers make smarter business decisions every day, through actionable insights derived from best-in-class managed video software and services.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Provide technical leadership for the development of automated loss prevention and operational insights products
• Research data models and machine learning solutions to create actionable insights
• Collaborate with ML teams across Motorola Solutions to incorporate ML solutions in Envysion products
• Collaborate with our UX team to develop compelling visualizations for insights
• Recommend and implement emerging ML technologies
• Coach and mentor others to continuously improve our ML capabilities

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, computer science, or related discipline
  • Post graduate degree preferred
• 5+ years of data science and/or machine learning experience
• Hands-on software development experience in a production environment
• Practical experience with machine learning for both experimentation and production
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Up-to-date with trends and developments in machine learning
• Desire to learn and continually improve self and others through knowledge sharing

Target Base Salary Range: $85,000 -$155,000 CAD

Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.
