OSI Maritime Systems is seeking a senior software engineering leader in Burnaby to own technical execution of feature teams delivering mission-critical navigation and tactical software. You will provide hands-on technical leadership, mentor engineers, and drive delivery accountability from concept through release.

You will lead end-to-end development, set priorities, and ensure high-quality software with disciplined engineering practices.

Formación

• 7+ years of software development with technical leadership.
• Strong programming skills in C/C++ and Python.
• Experience with Windows-based application development.

What will you do?

• Lead end-to-end software development (requirements, design, implementation, testing, release)

• Ensure designs meet architectural standards and quality expectations

• Drive improvements in testing, automation, and development practices
• Mentor and develop engineers, fostering a collaborative and accountable team environment

What will you bring?

• 7+ years of software development experience, including technical leadership
• Strong programming skills in C/C++ and/or Python
• Experience with Windows-based application development
• Solid understanding of software design, testing, and CI/CD practices
• Proven ability to deliver complex, high-quality software on schedule
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and mentoring skills
• Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
