Job summary

CORA Group, part of Jonas Software, is seeking a Business Development Associate in Markham to source and qualify acquisition opportunities in the software sector. You will build a robust deal funnel, engage with founders and executives, and collaborate with senior M&A leaders to shape outreach strategies.

This hybrid role offers a competitive base salary of 55k–65k CAD, plus bonus, comprehensive benefits, and vacation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, finance, or related field.
• 2+ years’ experience in deal origination, business development, software sales or investment related roles.
• Experience with CRM platforms (Salesforce) and Microsoft Office.
• Experience integrating or experimenting with AI tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Source and manage a pipeline of acquisition opportunities.
• Engage founders and executives to book meetings and qualify deals.
• Maintain Salesforce records and ensure timely follow-up.
• Partner with senior M&A leadership to assess deal fit.
• Arrange NDAs and collect key information from targets.
