Job Description

We are looking for a Software/IT Developer to join our team and provide hands-on support for customers using systems in dynamic warehouse environments. This role requires strong technical skills in networking, Java programming, SQL, and system troubleshooting, alongside effective communication in both English and Mandarin. You will be the first line of defense in diagnosing and resolving complex issues, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable, high-performance customer operations.

What You'll Do
  • Communicate effectively in English and Mandarin (spoken and written) to resolve technical issues with customers and colleagues.
  • Provide technical ownership of our systems in production environments, delivering timely responses and practical solutions.
  • Troubleshoot networking, database, and software issues, with a focus on root cause analysis and sustainable fixes.
  • Develop, debug, and support Java-based tools, scripts, and services used in production.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries to diagnose database performance and application issues.
  • Log, track, and document incidents in the SS ticketing system, ensuring accurate and detailed records.
  • Prioritize, escalate, and coordinate resolution of incidents according to severity and business impact.
  • Collaborate with Hardware, Level 2 Support, and cross-functional engineering teams to resolve complex production challenges.
  • Maintain and improve internal technical documentation and knowledge resources for the support team.
What You'll Need To Get The Job Done
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Fluency in both Mandarin and English (spoken and written).
  • Strong IT networking skills (TCP/IP, routing, switching, firewalls, troubleshooting).
  • Proficiency in Java programming for debugging and support.
  • Solid knowledge of relational databases and SQL performance tuning.
  • Experience with Linux/Unix system administration and troubleshooting.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities in fast-paced environments.
  • 1+ years of IT support, service engineering, or related hands-on experience; exposure to warehouse operations is a plus.
  • Customer-focused, self-driven, and able to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams.
What Will Make Us REALLY Love You
  • Experience with warehouse management systems, robotics, or automation technologies.
  • Familiarity with Crystal Reports or other reporting tools.
  • Exposure to ITIL processes or formal incident/change management frameworks.
  • Previous experience in a bilingual (Mandarin/English) customer-facing technical support role.
  • Scripting knowledge (Python, Bash, or similar) to automate troubleshooting and reporting tasks.
