The system to be supported centers around warehouse operations which are performed by a fleet of robots. The state of warehouse items are stored in an SQL database. API functions are utilized for the access to the SQL data and the transfer to customer systems. The system also implements the control and scheduling operations of the warehouse robots. This role combines deep technical problem‑solving with direct customer interaction in both English and Mandarin. You’ll be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving complex system issues across software, network, and infrastructure layers ensuring high system uptime and performance in mission‑critical environments.

What You'll Do
  • Communicate effectively in English and Mandarin (spoken and written) to resolve technical issues with customers and internal teams.
  • Take ownership of production systems, providing hands‑on support for Linux‑based environments and connected network infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot complex networking issues (TCP/IP, routing, switching, firewall configuration) and perform root‑cause analysis for system disruptions.
  • Develop, debug, and maintain Java‑based applications, tools, and integration services used in production systems.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries to support system diagnostics, performance tuning, and data validation.
  • Conduct detailed Linux system analysis, monitoring system logs, managing services, and performing performance optimization.
  • Log, track, and document incidents in the SS ticketing system with precision and clarity.
  • Prioritize, elevate, and coordinate issue resolution based on technical severity and operational impact.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering teams—including hardware, networking, and software groups to resolve complex, multi‑layered issues.
  • Maintain technical documentation, playbooks, and knowledge bases for continuous operational improvement.

  • Minimum experience: Bachelor’s + 2‑3 years work experience or Master’s + 1 year work experience.
  • Fluency in Mandarin and English (spoken and written).
  • Strong IT networking background, including TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, and firewall management.
  • Proficiency in Java programming for debugging, tool development, and backend support.
  • Experience with network analysis and configuration, log analysis, shell scripting, service management, and system tuning.
  • Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL performance optimization.
  • Excellent abilities in Database SQL. Ability to write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, etc.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a methodical approach to diagnosing layered software/network/system problems.
  • 1+ years of hands‑on IT support, system integration, or service engineering experience (warehouse or industrial environments a plus).
  • Self‑driven, customer‑focused, and capable of working independently while collaborating effectively across teams.
What Will Make Us REALLY Love You
