Job description

We are currently seeking a Software Implementation Specialist to help assist our growing company. This role will focus on the implementation of several of our eService modules that are value-added modules to our core mERP. These modules would be web and mobile based.

The job role will also require you to learn new tools and technologies. You should have in-depth technical knowledge with a desire to learn new things. This role will also require you to communicate directly with our clients.

Responsibilities:
  1. Work with clients to onboard the product(s). Continue to stay in contact as per SLA guidelines throughout the duration of the project (via email, phone, direct messages and Project Manager status tracker page).
  2. Work with our team and the client to transition the client from legacy systems to corresponding TownSuite mERP applications. Primarily focused on TownSuite eService portals and mobile apps including eBills, Recreation, Facilities, 311, Work orders, Inspections and Employee Portal.
  3. Obtain data, reports and other crucial implementation data from client configuration of their eServices. Responsible for obtaining this information throughout the project.
  4. Discuss with the client/team/PM any concerns or additional information required. Any concerns that are beyond implementation/conversion should also be brought up to TownSuite team members via standup or a dedicated meeting.
  5. Use gathered reports, databases and any other information collected to verify that any legacy processes/information are inputted correctly within TownSuite.
  6. Review with the client periodically upon any milestone that provides the client with a working TownSuite database.
  7. Take ownership of each assigned project knowing that you are responsible to meet any assigned benchmarks. If any concerns come up bring them directly to the attention of the team.
  8. Attendance and input in any meetings where your expertise is required. Report on project progress status at our daily standup and also within corresponding dedicated meetings such as the implementation status meeting.
  9. Note any technical improvements you have procured to make your job more streamlined.
  10. Follow our staff documentation for implementations, as implementations evolve modify these documents to reflect any changes that have been reflected.
  11. Once the project is ready for training/go-live assist the client in module training.
  12. Track the amount of time you work on per project including each module within.
  13. Full focus should be applied to assigned projects.
  14. Any unrectified outliers should be brought up as they arise to the CEO or their assignee(s).
Skills:
  1. Knowledge of any of the following areas would be a strong asset: Local Government Administration, Accounting, Asset Management, Recreation, Human Resources, Municipal Government Finance, Inspections, Land management, Recreation, facility and Event management.
  2. Well organized, patient and attentive to details.
  3. Effective team member.
  4. Good verbal and written communications.
  5. Ability to communicate effectively with clients both verbally and in writing.
  6. Ability to demonstrate the product via Zoom.
  7. Ability to troubleshoot any issues both independently or by working with our various teams.
  8. Good working knowledge of preferred for: Microsoft SQL Server + SQL Server Integration Services, GitHub, Salesforce, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, Google G Suite (Google Docs, Sheets, Calendar).
  9. Knowledge of cloud computing is an added advantage.
  10. Willingness to learn specialized software including TownSuite Municipal mERP Software, CRM, Email Marketing, Screen / Video Capture Software, Graphic Design Applications, Online Meeting Tools.
  11. Willingness to learn and the ability to adapt in an ever-changing, fast-paced work environment.
  12. Work with the team to improve our products.
