The Role

We are seeking a software architect/developer to help accelerate our platform's evolution through new technologies and approaches. The ideal candidate will have a balanced mix of development and architectural experience, capable of identifying necessary changes and supporting the team and business growth both technically and functionally.

Primary responsibilities:

1. Research, evaluate, and guide the implementation of new technologies and methodologies that address business and technical challenges.
2. Participate actively in the entire project lifecycle, including architectural design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
3. Establish strategic visions for the team, staying current with trends, techniques, and technologies impacting the business.
4. Manage resource allocation across multiple product lines.
5. Participate in reviews of customer support issues requiring development team assistance.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• At least four (4) years in the last five (5) years as a Software Architect designing, developing, and deploying software systems.
• Expertise in our tech stack: .NET Framework and Core, REST, Databases, Git, Azure, CI/CD, JavaScript Frameworks (React, Next.js, Fabric JS, Node.js).

• Experience with database design, networking concepts, scalable service-oriented architectures, and cloud-based designs, specifically Azure.
• Proven track record in delivering large-scale projects, exploring feasibility and prioritization tradeoffs.
• Deep knowledge of software design patterns, architecture styles, and development methodologies.
• Experience in architecting SaaS systems at scale.
• Understanding of distributed order management and business processes.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and multi-tasking skills.
