360insights is seeking a Software Engineer Technical Lead to guide a team of engineers, architect robust software solutions, and drive delivery of high-quality products aligned with the company's values.

You will be a subject matter expert within the team, collaborate with cross-functional groups, mentor engineers, and influence technical strategy from conception through deployment. Strong Node.js experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience leading software teams and delivering in Agile environments.
• Strong knowledge of C# and Node.js.
• Proficient in version control with Git and GitHub.
• Understanding of secure coding practices and OWASP Top 10.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement scalable and secure software solutions.
• Build coherent designs with multiple components interacting across API or system boundaries.
• Initiate and participate in technical decisions affecting the larger development organization.
• Collaborate with product owners, product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and specifications and deliver on the product and technical roadmaps.
• Identify and address technical challenges and risks, and implement effective solutions.
• Act as a liaison between the Enterprise Architecture team and Agile Software Delivery team, proposing solutions to the Architectural Review Board.
• Collaborate with other technical leads and architecture team to adhere to Product & Engineering Tenets: Avoid duplication across solutions; Avoid throw-away work serving short-term or module-specific goals; Design/build shared features; Phase out modules or services slated for retirement.
• Estimate, break down, and sequence large pieces of work for iterative delivery.
• Advocate for appropriate upgrades, replacements, and decommissioning options for modules, capabilities, and other services.
• Work with Tech Operations to deploy and support production systems.

About the role

This is an existing vacancy.

The Software Engineer Technical lead will be responsible for leading a team of engineers, architecting robust software solutions and ensuring the delivery of high-quality products while living the 360 values. They will be a subject matter expert within the team and work closely with cross-functional teams to drive techical strategy, provide mentorship and oversee the development process from conception to deployment. while using our values as an anchor to influence decisions, and formulate short-term plans.

Strong working knowledge of Node is essential for this role.

What you’ll do

What you’ll bring

• Strong knowledge and experience with C#, Node or other software as required by the role
• Proven experience as a Software Technical Lead or in a similar leadership role
• Proficiency with Git and GitHub for version control and collaboration
• Understanding of SOLID principles and their application in software design
• Familiarity with OWASP Top 10 and best practices for secure software development
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail and the proven ability to debug an application
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

The pay range for this role is $90,000 - $115,000 base salary
