Role Overview
As an Engineering Manager based out of our technical center of excellence in Vancouver, you will work alongside passionate and talented teams. You will lead the Development Productivity team and champion a portfolio of AI-driven tools (e.g., Cursor, Windsurf, AccelQ) to boost developer effectiveness. You’ll use your communication skills to gain stakeholder buy-in, demonstrate ROI, and foster adoption globally. If you thrive on bridging technical and business outcomes and enjoy engaging with people to influence and inspire, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and develop a high-performing team capable of executing the roadmap
• Break down projects into deliverables and document results
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Design, engineering, and leadership to understand challenges and craft a roadmap
• Provide technical feedback and support to team members
• Support team members' career development
• Research, evaluate, and pilot new AI tools to improve code quality, collaboration, and time-to-market
• Integrate tools into workflows and measure impact using data-driven insights
• Serve as an internal advocate for productivity solutions, delivering demos and presentations to stakeholders
• Build relationships with vendors and incorporate user feedback for continuous improvement
• Create training materials and support teams in adopting new tools
• Collaborate with distributed teams in Vancouver, Budapest, and Bangalore, and travel as needed
• Track metrics and leverage analytics to improve adoption and productivity
• Stay informed on AI, DevOps, and agile trends

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
• Management experience in an Agile environment, building high-performing teams
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle and practices
• Experience working with Product teams and recruiting engineers
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Passion for developing talent and fostering a learning culture
• Technical familiarity with pipelines, DevOps, and AI/ML tools
• Experience in evaluating and implementing development tools
• Strong presentation skills and stakeholder influence
• Leadership in cross-functional projects and managing multiple initiatives
• Experience working with international teams and willingness to travel

Pay Range: $120,000—$150,000 CAD
