Job Description

The Land C4ISR Applications team seeks an experienced Scrum Master to facilitate and coordinate a team of systems, software, and test engineers developing new capabilities for the Canadian Army. You will help develop solutions used by soldiers in areas such as Battle Management, Planning, Communication, and Data Exchange, working closely with our customer and integrating technologies from global vendors. This role can be based in Ottawa or Calgary.

Responsibilities include:

• Running Agile ceremonies like stand-ups, sprint reviews, and demos.
• Leading SAFe Framework processes such as PI planning and participating in ART syncs.
• Supporting and coaching teams to foster collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Acting as a servant leader to remove barriers and impediments.
• Collaborating with the Product Owner and customer to develop backlogs and plan work.
• Resolving conflicts, facilitating communication, and enhancing team dynamics.
• Implementing best practices and promoting Agile methodologies.
• Tracking progress, metrics, and reporting to management.
• Participating in reviews, inspections, and audits.
• Staying updated on relevant technologies and trends.
• Sharing knowledge and presenting ideas.
• Performing other duties as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• At least five years of experience in software integration projects.
• Minimum of two years as a Scrum Master.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Canadian Security Clearance and Controlled Goods Assessment; eligibility to work in Canada as a Citizen or Permanent Resident.
