General Dynamics Mission Systems–Canada is hiring software engineers for current vacancies and upcoming projects in our Air & Naval Sonar division. You will join a team delivering mission-critical software solutions to enhance operational effectiveness and decision-making for defense partners worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical/scientific discipline.
• 3+ years of relevant experience with software development
• Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages (e.g. C++, java)
• Experience with Agile software development, object-oriented design tools, and UML
• Familiarity with Linux as a host environment and software version control systems
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and analysis skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently with minimal supervision
• Positive approach to learning, strong work ethic, and enthusiasm for taking ownership of work
• Experience working with or familiarity with AI/ML models is preferred.

Join a team developing software solutions that support mission-critical functions. These systems contribute directly to improving operational effectiveness, situational awareness, and decision-making capabilities for defense partners around the world.

Responsibilities

It is a requirement that General Dynamics Mission Systems-Canada be registered with the Canadian Controlled Goods program and that all of its workforce be security assessed. Additional Information

The hiring range for this position is $76,000-$115,000. Our goal is to provide a fair and competitive offer based on an assessment of internal equity and your qualifications, including:
