The Role

We're looking for a Program Manager to join the EA Sports Central Operations team and lead the EA SPORTS Software Engineering Academy, a 12-month development program focused on growing emerging software engineering talent. You will oversee the program from execution to cohort engagement, performance support, and future development.

You will report to the Head of Operations for EA Sports Central Operations, work onsite/hybrid at our Burnaby location, and collaborate with Game Teams, Talent Acquisition, Engineering, and People Experience. This role is at a manager-equivalent level (without direct reports).

Responsibilities

  • Deliver the first iteration of the EA SPORTS SE Academy, ensuring high-quality execution and understanding program goals and structure.
  • Build relationships with participants and managers to support development and engagement.
  • Assess program effectiveness and implement improvements based on feedback and data.
  • Update instructional content and curriculum, integrating technical and soft skills.
  • Coordinate logistics for workshops, learning sessions, and events with SMEs.
  • Collaborate on staffing strategies and partner with Talent Acquisition and other teams to attract top talent.
  • Support performance management to ensure successful outcomes in evaluations and planning.

Ideal Background

  • 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in talent, learning, or program operations, especially onboarding, training, or development programs with early career talent.
  • Experience managing a program through multiple cycles.
  • Experience in creative or technical environments like gaming, VFX, animation, or tech industries.

Compensation And Benefits

In British Columbia, the pay range is $107,600 - $147,100 CAD, depending on location and experience. Benefits include vacation, sick leave, parental leave, health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, and retirement plans. Some roles may be eligible for bonuses and equity.
