Job Description

The Software Engineer will analyze, develop, and support internal software systems at Ritchie Bros., focusing on Salesforce (Sales & Marketing Clouds) and its ecosystem. The role involves collaborating with various teams to deliver high-quality software, ensuring systems operate correctly post-deployment, and guiding solution implementation based on IT platform knowledge.

In This Role You’ll

• Deliver high-quality software efficiently
• Provide technical input and leadership
• Develop test classes and automation scripts for QA
• Perform peer code reviews and give feedback
• Maintain systems and assist team members
• Help Product Owners translate business requirements into technical tasks
• Coordinate with QA, System Integrators, Analysts, and Architects to ensure system reliability
• Work within an Agile workflow (Scrum, backlog grooming, retrospectives)
• Work remotely or onsite in Burnaby, BC during regular hours
• Participate in on-call support as needed
• Lift moderately weighted equipment as required
• Support RB's safety commitment by taking personal responsibility for safety
