About the Role

Shape the future of AI with Rust! As an AI Tutor - Rust, you will utilize your systems programming expertise to enhance AI-generated code, ensuring it aligns with Rust’s safety and performance standards.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Review Rust code for memory safety, correctness, and idiomatic style.
  • Solve complex systems-level problems using Rust and articulate your process clearly.
  • Identify and correct flaws in AI output or unclear logic.
  • Summarize your approach and decision-making process in a clear and concise manner.

About You

  • Fluent in English with strong communication skills.
  • Expertise in Rust, including ownership model, lifetimes, borrowing, traits, and concurrency.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Rust development or systems programming is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree (or pursuing one) in Computer Science or a related field; Master’s or PhD is a plus.
  • Deep interest in AI, compilers, or safe system design.

Alignerr is committed to pay parity and transparent compensation discussions. The expected hourly rate for U.S.-based candidates ranges from $15 to $150 USD, with variations based on skills, experience, and location.

This is a freelance, hourly-position, not an internship. Candidates must be authorized to work in their country of residence. Sponsorship is not provided.
