We are looking for someone unafraid to raise the bar on platform technology. As a Full-Stack Developer, you love a broad scope of technologies and platforms and are looking for a role where you can have a real-world impact. As part of the Software Engineering team, you will play a critical role in our continued success in disrupting the transportation industry with our innovative technology.

Requirements

  • Excellent “interactive comms” (speaking live with others) are extremely important for this role! We’ve run into issues in the past in difficulties understanding and discussing the business logic.
  • Strongly-typed language experience, e.g., C#, Java, C/C++
  • Willingness to spend up to six working hours per day in a team-programming environment during onboarding, with potential for regular team programming sessions such as mobbing, pair programming, or ensemble. No prior experience needed, but willingness is required.
  • Some experience writing database scripts and/or stored procedures in a SQL database system
  • Familiarity with cloud-based platform services such as Azure or AWS
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git, SVN, Mercurial
  • Experience with build pipelines, e.g., GitActions, GitLab, BitBucket, Azure DevOps
  • Familiarity with software ticketing systems like Jira, Solar, ServiceNow
  • Position is entirely backend software development
  • Mid-level to low-senior experience (2-7 years)

Preferences

  • C# or Java primary language
  • Microsoft SQL Server experience
  • Azure cloud hosting and Azure DevOps pipelines
  • Experience with business workflows similar to banking or transactional logic scenarios

Restrictions

  • Full-stack experience not required; UI development is minimal and not preferred.
  • Unwillingness to work synchronously at stages, even after onboarding, may be a concern.
