One of our partner companies is currently looking for a Software Engineer, ML Infrastructure based in Canada.

In this role, you'll join a fast-paced, cross-functional team building the infrastructure that powers the future of AI-driven robotics. You'll work on scalable systems to process and manage vast amounts of sensor and training data, enabling high-performance ML workflows. From optimizing data pipelines and automating workflows to integrating with annotation tools and supporting robust CI/CD practices, you’ll play a critical role in accelerating the development and deployment of machine learning models. This is a unique opportunity to help shape the technical foundation of cutting-edge autonomy systems in a collaborative and mission-driven environment.

Accountabilities:

  • Design and maintain scalable data processing pipelines for curation, annotation, and ML feature extraction
  • Build and improve active learning systems and ensure training/inference scalability
  • Develop orchestration and scheduling systems for seamless pipeline management
  • Collaborate with autonomy engineers to enhance data platform features and usability
  • Integrate with third-party annotation services for efficient dataset labeling
  • Implement infrastructure as code and CI/CD processes for platform reliability and agility
  • Monitor performance, ensure cost-efficiency, and maintain SLAs for data quality and availability
  • Support ML engineers by improving development speed and data accessibility
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2 years of industry experience in data engineering or ML pipeline development
  • At least 1 year of experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
  • Proficient in Python and familiar with distributed systems and scalable architecture
  • Solid understanding of system design and big data concepts
  • Experience with tools such as Airflow, Terraform, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions is a plus
  • Familiarity with databases (e.g., BigQuery, Postgres, MongoDB) and vector search systems
  • Bonus: Experience with Apache Spark, Beam, or Hadoop
