Job Title : Full-Stack Developer (eCommerce – Shopify, Accessibility Tools)

Location : Remote (Canada)

Employment Type : Contract (6 months)

Job Description :

We are seeking a skilled Full-Stack Developer to support a digital transformation project for a public cannabis retail client. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Shopify Liquid themes, building accessible and responsive front-end components, and integrating web interfaces with external APIs in an eCommerce environment.

Responsibilities :

• Customize and enhance Shopify Liquid themes to meet business and accessibility standards
• 5+ years experience in HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, JavaScript, jQuery, React, with 3+ years of experience in modern JavaScript frameworks
• 3+ years experience building on eCommerce Platforms
• 3+ years experience in building and integrating web interfaces with Web APIs using REST (JSON) and XML/JSON parsing techniques
• 1+ years experience using Jira, Confluence, Figma, and related tools in daily activities
• 3+ years experience in Java application development and programming best practices
• Ensure compliance with accessibility standards using tools such as Axe, NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver
• Support third-party integrations with platforms such as Algolia, Canada Post, UPS, and FedEx
