As a Software Engineer, you will build and shape our Valuations products. You’ll contribute to developing new features, improving operational efficiency, and minimizing technical debt while leveraging standardized solutions. Working closely with both business teams and other engineering teams, you will operate in a product space that intersects with Cap Table Management, Taxes, and Investor Products, offering a unique opportunity to impact beyond your immediate scope.

In this role you will :

• Design and develop highly available, secure, and scalable platforms and user experiences
• Follow test-driven development (TDD), maintain high code coverage, and automate processes
• Conduct thorough peer code reviews
• Use logging and monitoring to improve system observability
• Track system performance and business metrics

The Team You'll Work With

You will join a diverse team dedicated to transforming asset valuation. Our mission is to value assets accurately and in real-time, developing solutions for fast and precise valuations across various contexts (409A, ASC 820, Warrants, Gifts, etc). We support multiple business units, working on projects like new user experiences, data platforms, third-party integrations, and tools for financial analysts leveraging Carta’s data and machine learning platforms.

• You have 1-3 years of full-stack or frontend engineering experience

• You are passionate about our tech stack (ReactJS, Java, Python, Datadog, GRPC / GraphQL, Kafka, K8s, AWS)
