Overview

The Decision Management team is looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test to execute our regression test strategy by consistently innovating and problem-solving. The ideal candidate is passionate about software development and testing, highly motivated, intellectually curious, analytical, and capable of driving improvements to our existing regression test coverage and strategy.

Role

  1. Play a crucial part in a technical test role to help drive quality by building, implementing, and executing tests, automation improvements, and reporting for our regression release cycle.
  2. Collaborate closely with test teams to enhance existing software testing processes.
  3. Partner with integration testers, SETs, and development teams to improve and automate test and release processes.
  4. Help make quality an integral part of the development process.

All About You

The ideal candidate should have:

  1. Experience in core Java programming for test automation, with the ability to identify, write, and execute automated tests.
  2. Experience in refactoring regression test sets written in Java.
  3. Knowledge of test fundamentals and methodologies.
  4. Experience working with development and release teams.
  5. Ability to create acceptance and integration automation tests, and to integrate with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or Bamboo, as well as code coverage tools like Sonar.
  6. Strong communication skills to explain technical problems clearly.
  7. Test analysis and reporting skills.
  8. Preferred qualifications include QAI, ISTQB, or ASTQB certification.

Additional capabilities include experience in data virtualization tools, and exposure to cloud-based applications.
