We maintain an enterprise-wide near real-time streaming platform (SaaS solution, Confluent-based), with Apache Kafka at its core, along with surrounding auxiliary services (key vaults, configuration services, encryption services, REST API services). The platform and its services are deployed across a mix of private and public cloud infrastructure, with the latter being Azure focused. As part of operating such a platform, we have a client-facing support team which is responsible for ensuring the successful onboarding of clients to our platform from intake to production release. This team is meant to support our clients in their inquiries and releases, to help resolve technical production incidents, and to help with overall client-focused onboarding initiatives (for example, client migrations from one Kafka platform to another). More specifically, we are looking for a candidate who will be able to offer technical Kafka-specific advice to clients developing largely Java/Spring focused services, to review client Kafka service configurations, to write Kafka-oriented best practices/standards, to perform client code reviews, and to write troubleshooting documentation in order to streamline client incident resolution.
