What You'll Do

• Design and build scalable features to help Yelp users discover and engage with businesses.
• Implement modern, responsive features.
• Deploy projects in a Service-Oriented Architecture, from backend services to user interfaces.
• Conduct A/B experiments and analyze data for trends.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineering teams.
• Mentor peers and help others develop their skills.

What It Takes To Succeed

• Deep understanding of at least one popular server-side web framework (e.g., Django, Flask, Rails, Express) or modern JS frontend frameworks (React, Angular, Vue, etc.).
• Knowledge of web security and performance best practices.
• Comfort working in a Unix environment.

What You'll Get

• Salary range $85,000–$237,000 annually, plus potential bonuses, stock units, and benefits.
