Tempo is looking for an experienced software engineer with a founder mindset to take a critical role in our rapidly growing early-stage startup. At Tempo, we believe software will be built 10x faster with teams leveraging the perfect combination of AI agents and collaborative tools. The platform we’ve built makes this future vision a reality, leading our company to an inflection point of growth. Your Responsibilities :

1. Be a critical part of the technical and product roadmap, acting like an owner of the business, making decisions with a founder-like mentality.
2. Build products across our stack (using Typescript, Node, and more) that enable our customers to build web apps 10x faster.
3. Embrace our AI-first culture at every level. Find creative and novel ways to leverage AI at every part of the stack, from the React designer AI to our network of asynchronous development agents, and for our own development processes.
4. Collaborate directly with our team and customers to ship high-leverage features, while iterating as fast as possible.
5. Enjoy working at a quickly growing startup!

Qualifications :

1. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
2. At least 4 years of professional experience building full-stack applications (React experience a plus).
3. Proven talent and high-quality execution, capable of handling complex tasks efficiently.
4. Experience building and owning production-grade products in real-world settings (not pet projects or client projects).
5. A strong product and customer-focused mindset.
6. Experience with code quality and maintenance issues in production systems, with opinions on best practices.
7. Self-driven and adaptable in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.

Bonus Points :

• Experience as a founder or at an early-stage startup (Series A or earlier).
