About the Frontend Infrastructure team: The Frontend Infrastructure team empowers product engineers to build fast, maintainable, and accessible user experiences by providing shared tooling, libraries, and best practices. Our work touches everything from local development to production deployment — we own and evolve the systems that make it easy for teams to spin up new features, catch issues early, and ship with confidence. This includes owning our front-end CI/CD pipelines, improving developer workflows, shaping shared standards, and guiding the adoption and evolution of foundational technologies like React and TypeScript across the codebase.

We also work closely with the product design team to build and support our design system and component library. These tools accelerate development, ensure consistency, and uphold a high bar for user experience. Our team helps ensure the system remains reliable, easy to adopt, and aligned with evolving product and design needs.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Design, improve, and debug the front-end systems and tooling that power our internal development workflows at scale
  • Identify and address bottlenecks in the front-end development lifecycle
  • Keep our front-end stack modern and efficient by evaluating and adopting evolving tools, frameworks, and standards
  • Write extensible, scalable, and testable code for shared libraries, developer tooling, and CI workflows
  • Take part in technical planning and architectural decision-making
  • Collaborate with team members on designing scalable, well-tested, and well-documented front-end architecture
  • Take responsibility and ownership of projects from start to finish
  • Contribute to code reviews and technical spec reviews

We'll be reaching out to applicants that have

  • 2+ years of full-time work experience building and maintaining complex front-end systems, libraries, or tooling at scale
  • Knowledge of our front-end technology stack - React, TypeScript, Redux/Zustand, Material UI, Jest, React Testing Library, GraphQL
  • Experience owning technical projects end-to-end, from design to delivery
  • Strong understanding of scalable front-end architecture, monorepos, and shared code patterns
  • Basic understanding of modern CI/CD workflows for front-end development, such as bundling, static analysis, test automation, and deployment
  • Experience analyzing, benchmarking, and optimizing front-end performance, including load times, runtime efficiency, and bundle size
  • Bonus: experience working on product teams to design and iterate on user-facing front-end experiences in close collaboration with designers and stakeholders
