Coinbase is seeking experienced frontend engineers to help develop the next wave of crypto-forward products and features. Your role will be to build systems that make cryptocurrency accessible worldwide.

The Consumer Product Group aims to make the Coinbase retail app the easiest and fastest way to access crypto. Our goal in 2024 is to become the #1 self-custody wallet by MTUs and download share. Wallet is central to Web3 and Coinbase’s future. Our product suite includes: Coinbase app, advanced trading, dApps, and staking.

What you'll do:

• Design secure, reliable services to integrate with blockchains and add new cryptocurrencies to Coinbase, Pro, and Custody.
• Create a user-friendly interface for digital currency apps, adding features like staking, voting, and prediction markets.
• Develop infrastructural services for secure storage, accounting, and transactions to ensure safe asset transfers.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and leadership to turn our vision into a quarterly roadmap.
• Bring positive energy to meetings and foster inclusive interactions.

What we look for:

• At least 2+ years of experience building web apps and deploying user-facing features with JavaScript and modern frameworks like React.
• Experience developing and deploying user-facing features using component-based UI frameworks.
• Knowledge of current front-end trends, including performance, security, and usability best practices.
• Experience working with design and product teams throughout the development lifecycle.
• Ability to write high-quality, well-tested code that meets customer needs.

Nice to have:

• Experience in finance or security front-end teams.
• At least 1 year of experience with React Native mobile apps or migrating native apps to React Native.

Pay Transparency Notice: The annual salary range for this position varies by location, from $149,500 CAD to $149,500 CAD, plus bonus, equity, and benefits including medical, dental, and vision.
