Overview: Join an expert annotation team to create training data for advanced AI models. No prior AI experience necessary. This role offers an entry point into the AI/LLM space with a prominent industry player. We seek software engineers with 3+ years of experience to help train large AI language models, focusing on improving generative AI's coding capabilities. Projects involve solving varied problems, from evaluating Python code to building full applications.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate AI-generated code, including providing human-readable rationales
• Solve coding challenges, writing functional and efficient code
• Create robust test cases to verify code effectiveness
• Review code before it is integrated into models
• Engage in diverse projects, from code comparison to application development

Pay Rates:

Rates vary by location and experience. Starting points include:

• US - $50/hr
• Brazil - $25.40/hr
• Egypt - $14.60/hr
• Philippines - $24.20/hr

Expect 15+ hours/week, with flexibility to work up to 40+ hours. Payments are weekly based on hours worked.

Contract Details:

• Long-term engagement with no fixed end date, expected to last 2+ years
• Contract can be terminated anytime; 12 months preferred but not mandatory

Work Schedule:

• Flexible hours; candidates should aim for around 40 hours/week
• Work hours are self-managed; team collaboration is expected
• Paid according to time spent on tasks, with flexibility for breaks

Interview Process:

1. Apply via Ashby form
2. Complete a 35-minute RLHF code review within 72 hours if shortlisted
3. Receive platform credentials and join a group call for onboarding
4. Perform a simulated RLHF task; successful completion leads to project work opportunities

Tech Stack Priority:

Experience with Python is essential; familiarity with Data Science is a plus.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 3+ years in software engineering or development
• Fluent in English
• Ability to clearly articulate complex concepts

• Strong understanding of grammar, punctuation, and style
• Proficiency in Python
