Job summary

Sphere Semi is seeking a Software Engineer - Distributed Systems to help build scalable infrastructure for our AI-driven chip design platform. The role offers a flexible remote/hybrid/onsite arrangement with opportunities to work across cloud environments and distributed clusters.

You will design, develop, and scale production-grade Python codebases, manage cloud infrastructure, and drive DevOps practices including CI/CD and automation.

What You’ll Do:

• Design, build, and scale large, production-level Python codebases to support our AI chip design algorithms.
• Manage and optimize cloud-based distributed computing environments to ensure scalability, reliability, and efficiency.
• Lead the development and implementation of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and container orchestration.
• Design and deploy resource management systems across distributed clusters to optimize performance and resource utilization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including AI engineers and chip designers, to deliver robust and scalable solutions.
