Job summary

Squires Resources Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer - DevOps to join the technology team in Toronto. The role combines software development and DevOps to build, deploy and support secure applications in .NET and Azure environments.

It is an in-office position based in Canada with locations including Toronto. Responsibilities include building CI/CD pipelines, deploying .NET apps, and supporting monitoring and security across Windows, IIS and Azure stacks.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of software/DevOps experience within financial services.
• Strong foundation in C#, .NET, SQL Server and Azure.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, PowerShell, Docker/Kubernetes and IaC is highly valuable.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are recruiting a Software Engineer - DevOps to join the technology team of an established financial services organization.

This is a hands-on role combining software development and DevOps, working closely with development, QA and infrastructure teams to build, deploy and support secure and reliable applications across Microsoft .NET and Azure environments.

The role may be based in one of several office locations, including Toronto, Ireland or the UK. This is a full-time, in-office role and is not available on a remote or hybrid basis.

The role will involve:

• Building and maintaining Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
• Supporting deployment and troubleshooting of .NET applications
• Developing and supporting applications using C#, .NET and SQL Server
• Working with Azure, IIS and Windows environments
• Supporting application monitoring, security and deployment automation

We are looking for someone with 2+ years of relevant software engineering/DevOps experience within financial services, with a strong foundation in C#, .NET, SQL Server and Azure.

Experience with technologies such as Azure DevOps, Git, PowerShell, Docker/Kubernetes and infrastructure as code would be particularly valuable.
