As a full-time Software Engineer (Database), you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our robust database systems, ensuring the seamless operation of our business-critical applications.

What you'll be doing

• Design, implement, and optimise database solutions to support our diverse range of software applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and address complex business requirements
• Develop and maintain efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, and other database objects
• Perform database performance tuning, troubleshooting, and issue resolution
• Participate in the planning and implementation of database migrations, upgrades, and backups
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our database architecture and development processes

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Software Engineer or Database Developer
• Proficiency in SQL, database design, and optimisation techniques
• Familiarity with database management systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Microsoft SQL Server
• Experience with agile software development methodologies
