Brief Description of the Role:

This role involves working on our proprietary data technology, focusing on aggregation and distribution via API.

You will work hands-on with financial data and the latest AI technology for our data API offerings.

• You are a 10x engineer. If you're unsure, no need to apply. You need to write good code, fast. Experience level is less important than performance.
• Experience with data parsing.
• Experience with databases.
• Experience with Python.
• Strong background in working with and building APIs.
• Strong knowledge of handling structured and unstructured data.
• Proven experience or strong interest in investing and finance. Our platform is built by investors, for investors, so understanding investment concepts is essential, especially with advanced data and financial concepts.
• Bachelor's or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering. Exceptions may be made for self-taught candidates.
• Experience or interest in AI technologies, especially Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Based in Canada.

Job Title: Software Engineer: Back-End (Data)
Location: Remote with occasional in-person work in downtown Toronto.
Salary: $100,000-$220,000 + equity. Salary will be based on talent and fit, not just experience.
